This is the America We Voted For

November 19th, 2021 | by Gunner Steele

It's pretty difficult to imagine the America that we live in today was once the "greatest country that ever existed on the face of the earth." When you objectively look at what America is, what it is doing, what it stands for, what it rejects, and who rules it—it is hard to imagine just how far we've fallen…

Take the following short list and explain it to me:
  • If a guy pretends to be a woman, you are required to pretend with him.
  • Somehow it’s un-American for the census to count how many Americans are in America.
  • Russians influencing our elections are bad, but illegals voting in our elections are good.
  • It was cool for Hunter Biden's dad to "blackmail" the President of Ukraine, but an impeachable offense for President Trump to ask the Ukrainian President to investigate fraud and corruption.
  • Twenty is too young to drink a beer, but eighteen is old enough to vote.
  • People who have never owned slaves should pay slavery reparations to people who have never been slaves.
  • People who have never been to college should pay the debts of college students who took out huge loans for their degrees.
  • Immigrants with tuberculosis and polio are welcome, but you’d better be able to prove your dog is vaccinated.
  • Irish doctors and German engineers who want to immigrate to the US must go through a rigorous vetting process, but any illiterate gang member or terrorist who jumps the southern fence is welcome.
  • $5 billion for border security is too expensive, but $1.5 trillion for “free” health care is not.
  • If you cheat to get into college you go to prison, but if you cheat to get into the country you go to college for free.
  • If you cheat in an election nothing happens to you, but if you point out the mathematical errors of that election you are a conspiracy theorist & disdained.
  • People who say there is no such thing as gender are demanding a female President.
  • We see other countries going Socialist and collapsing, but it seems like a great plan for us.
  • Some people are held responsible for things that happened before they were born, and other people are not held responsible for what they are doing right now.
  • Criminals are caught-and-released to hurt more people, but stopping them is bad because it's a violation of their rights.
  • Then there is the whole Afghanistan, vaccine, endless COVID variants, election cheating, deficient president, violence in the cities, defunding the police, confiscating my guns while arming terrorists, etc., etc.
  • And pointing out all this hypocrisy somehow makes us "racists"?!
Nothing makes sense anymore—no values, no morals, and minimal civility. We are clearly living in an upside-down world where right is wrong and wrong is right, where moral is immoral and immoral is moral, where good is evil and evil is good, where killing murderers is wrong but killing unborn babies is okay! Did you know abortion is the number one cause of death in the U.S?

Isaiah 5:20 "Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!"

It has been said that "we get the government we deserve." And in a representative Republic, that means we get the government we vote for.

But we should not fool ourselves into thinking that we only vote at the ballot box every 2 years during "election time." That is actually the weakest vote you make. The most powerful and valuable votes you make are by your decisions in life.

Truly, we can say that the upside down America we are living in is our own fault, and that we voted for it, if we have done any of the following:
  • If we sent our children to government schools which indoctrinate our children in Marxism and atheism, all while being funded by legal plunder (by stealing from your neighbor).
  • If we choose to go to a weak church with effeminate leadership that doesn't preach the truth because it makes us feel more comfortable and we don't like to be convicted of sin.
  • If we vote for the weakest of all candidates because he/she is the most "electable" and we reject the best candidate because RINOs tell us they can't get elected.
The list can go on. Truly we are living in the America we voted for.

What do you feel are other decisions we make that amount to voting with our actions? List them in the comments below…
